Are the people and residents of Gaza considered among those who are "Murabitun" (steadfastly guarding the frontiers) in the path of Allah, and does the Hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, apply to them: "Every dead person's deeds are sealed, except for one who dies 'Murabit' in the path of Allah, for his deeds will grow for him until the Day of Resurrection, and he will be safe from the tribulation of the grave"? And is it true that whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, such as women who cannot partake in armed jihad, will be fully rewarded as a martyr even if she dies in her bed, and will she feel the pain of death, or will it be like the prick of a mosquito?
We have previously explained the virtue and conditions of Ribat (guarding the frontiers), and that remaining in Palestine and the Levant is considered Ribat in the path of Allah. Whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will grant him the status of martyrs, even if he dies in his bed. It is hoped for him that he will find death to be no more than the pain of a pinch, and this applies to both the true martyr and the one deemed a martyr.
