1. Is it permissible to sew the shroud before death or not? 2. Is it permissible to silently recite the Qur’an in congregation in the mosque with the intention of completing the Qur’an and supplicating after finishing? 3. Is it permissible to deposit money in banks and take its interest? 4. Is it permissible to give Zakat money to a female relative who needs to buy curtains and some household items for her home? 5. Is providing financial assistance to a sick colleague to buy a medical device considered an ongoing charity for which there is reward?
It is not from the guidance of the righteous predecessors for a person to prepare their shroud and have it ready before their death. This is something their family is commanded to do after their death. It is best for a Muslim not to deviate from what the predecessors of the Ummah were upon.
