Does a resident in Europe sending money to a poor person in Morocco to buy an Eid sacrifice earn him the reward of the sacrifice or only the reward of charity, especially since he believes that buying meat from slaughterhouses has no reward?

If a Muslim appoints someone to slaughter his Udhiyah (sacrificial animal) for him in slaughterhouses after the Eid prayer, he will receive the reward of the Udhiyah. However, buying meat on the day of Eid without slaughtering a sacrificial animal will not earn him the reward of the Udhiyah. Similarly, slaughtering before the Eid prayer is considered meat from a sheep and not an Udhiyah. Giving money to a poor person to sacrifice on his behalf is considered appointing an agent for the Udhiyah, and the owner of the money will receive its reward. However, if the money is for the poor person to sacrifice for himself, it is considered a charity from the owner of the money and is not counted as an Udhiyah on his behalf.
