Can the book "The Three Rituals: The Beard, The Niqab, The Shortening" found on the "Islam الوطن" website be refuted with evidence?

The summary of the fatwa is that the aforementioned book spews the poisons of sectarianism and fanaticism. It discusses controversial jurisprudential issues and attributes them to those described as "Wahhabis." It also describes those who choose the obligation of covering the face as "Khawarij," which contradicts the Almighty’s saying: "Indeed, those who have divided their religion and become sects - you, [O Muhammad], are not [associated] with them in anything. Their affair is only up to Allah; then He will inform them of what they used to do." (Quran 6:159). Furthermore, the book lacks academic integrity, as it attributes the view of covering the face to Ubaydah al-Salmani without mentioning Ibn Mas'ud, Ibn Abbas, and others. The disagreement on these issues is old and too minor to cause such a commotion.
