How can the "qawareer" (vessels) be respected if women are immodestly adorned (mutabarrijat), excessively nude, and mix with men? And does "treat women kindly" apply to those who are immodestly adorned and do not guard their private parts?

The Sharia emphasizes the importance of looking after women, due to their vulnerability and their need for someone to manage their affairs. This is supported by the words of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him: "Treat women kindly," and his saying: "Gently, O Anjashah, drive the crystal vessels!" The "crystal vessels" refer to women. Similarly, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O Allah, I declare inviolable the rights of the two weak ones: the orphan and the woman."

This injunction does not mean condoning women's disobedience; rather, it is an affirmation of enjoining them to good, forbidding them from evil, keeping them away from the causes of temptation, treating them with gentleness, and not leaving them to crookedness if they transgress beyond their inherent shortcomings to commit acts of disobedience.

A believer's heart should be expansive with mercy and compassion for sinners, hoping for their guidance and repentance, while upholding Allah's command concerning them, and hating the sin itself, not the sinner as a person.
