Is there repentance with Allah for one who committed the act of the people of Lot in Mecca, and fornicated during the daytime in Ramadan, and married the one with whom he fornicated, and practiced masturbation for more than 9 years, and molested and touched what was unlawful for him from the sacred inviolables of Muslims, and looked at what was lawful for him to look at; and is he a hypocrite or a dissembler, and will Allah accept him into His Paradise, and will Allah accept to look at him with a glance of mercy and compassion in Ramadan and emancipate him, and what should he do now that he has repented and returned [to Allah]?
Allah's forgiveness is greater than any sin. If a person repents with sincere repentance, fulfilling all its conditions, then their repentance is accepted, and they return from their sins as if they had no sin. It is hoped for them that they will be among those whom Allah shows mercy to and frees from the Fire. Let them be optimistic and have a good opinion of their Lord, and let them increase in acts of obedience, for good deeds erase bad deeds. As for his marriage to that woman, if it occurred before the repentance, we believe there is no blame on him for adopting the view of those who consider it valid. If he renews the contract as a precaution, that would be better.
