What is the authenticity of the Hadith: "Seek help in achieving your needs through discretion, for everyone who is blessed is envied"?

The rank of the aforementioned hadith and the scholarly disagreement regarding its authentication and weakening have been previously explained. There is another narration for it reported by Al-Khula'i from Ali, (marfu'an - directly attributed to the Prophet), with the wording: "Seek assistance in fulfilling your needs by concealing them." It is also supported by a hadith from At-Tabarani on the authority of Ibn Abbas: "Indeed, people of blessings have envious ones, so beware of them." Al-Albani authenticated it with the wording: "Seek assistance in succeeding in your needs by concealing them, for every possessor of a blessing is envied." Some scholars permit acting upon a weak hadith in matters of virtuous deeds (Fada'il al-A'mal) under certain conditions, including that it falls under a general principle and that it is not attributed to someone whose narrations are selected.
