The answer

If a husband divorces his wife while conscious of what he is saying, his divorce is effective, even if he is angry. This is based on the statement of Al-Ruhaibani Al-Hanbali: "Divorce issued by one who is angry, but whose mind has not completely departed, is effective." If this was the first divorce, the husband may take back his wife during her waiting period (iddah).

The wife should fear Allah, treat her husband well, control her speech, and not act impulsively out of anger. The Prophet (peace be upon him) advised against anger. Fasting should be an aid to obedience and good character, by fasting the hearing, sight, and tongue from lies and sins. The fasting person should exhibit dignity and tranquility.
