Is the husband required to make up for the days he missed fasting and feed the poor due to a snakebite incident 25 years ago, given that he was unable to feed them at the time?

The husband must repent for delaying the inquiry about the religious ruling. Illness permits breaking the fast by the consensus of the scholars, based on the Almighty's saying: "So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then [he must fast] an equal number of other days." The illness that permits breaking the fast is a severe one that worsens with fasting or is feared to delay recovery.

If his illness is incurable, he must pay the Fidyah (feeding a poor person for each day).

However, if his illness is curable, he must make up the days he missed, and there is no Fidyah upon him. If he feeds [the poor] along with making up [the days], it is more cautious.
