What is the ruling on a girl sleeping in the same room with her brother, though in separate beds?

Islam encourages the upbringing of children and teaching them its tenets from a young age, for education in childhood is more firmly rooted and lasting. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded that children be taught prayer from the age of seven years, and that they be disciplined for it at the age of ten years, and that they be separated in their sleeping places. Therefore, children should not sleep in one bed or share one blanket. However, if the room is spacious and each has a separate mattress and blanket, there is no objection to that. It is preferable for a girl to sleep in a separate room from her brother when they approach puberty, and if that is not feasible, then each must have their own mattress and blanket.
