Is a woman considered disobedient and sinful if she rejects her fiancé’s request to quit her studies and stay at home, without a convincing reason for that?

The fiancée is not obligated to obey her fiancé, and she does not sin by disobeying him. However, if he commands her to do something that is among the commands of Allah and His Messenger, she is obligated to comply with the command of Allah and the Messenger. As for the husband, the wife must obey him and sins if she leaves his house without his permission, unless it is out of necessity or to seek obligatory knowledge. And if the woman stipulates in the marriage contract the completion of her studies, the husband is obligated to enable her, and she has the right to annul the marriage if he does not fulfill the condition.
