Is it permissible to obtain an interest-bearing loan from the bank to pay off overdue debts and the costs of furnishing an apartment, given the financial hardship?

Borrowing money with usurious interest is among the great prohibitions and major sins. It is not permissible to undertake it to facilitate marriage. Allah says: "And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out." One should seek Allah's help, be patient, and practice economy to facilitate matters.
