What is guile? And is the guile of women greater than the guile of Satan?

"Kaid" (كيد) refers to cunning and trickery. Some exegetes have mentioned that the cunning of women is greater than that of Satan. It was said that this is either due to the immense temptation they pose, or because their cunning is a direct confrontation, not mere whispers. Some exegetes, however, held that the greatness of women's cunning is in comparison to men's cunning, and the weakness of Satan's cunning is in comparison to Allah Almighty's cunning. They asserted that the two verses do not necessitate that women's cunning is absolutely greater than Satan's.
