The answer

Al-Shihab mentioned in his Musnad the Hadith: "Women are the snares of Satan," as did Al-Ajlouni and Al-Sakhawi. Al-Albani graded it weak in his Silsilah and Da'if al-Targhib. "Habalah" means that with which one hunts. Despite the weakness of the Hadith in its chain of transmission, its meaning is sound, and it is supported by Tirmidhi's Hadith from Ibn Mas'ud: "The woman is 'awrah (nakedness), so if she goes out, Satan beautifies her," meaning he makes her appealing in the eyes of men to tempt her and tempt with her. So, it is considered repugnant for a woman to be exposed, and if she goes out, Satan looks at her to cause her to fall into temptation. Women are the greatest traps of Satan, and by their going out, he sets them up as a net to hunt men and tempt them into illicit sexual relations.
