Is it permissible to be lenient in the use of music or the appearance of women in religious programs to attract youth and draw them closer to the faith, given the concern of confusing legal rulings for them?

Seeking to guide those far from religion is a good intention, but it has lawful means that do not involve prohibitions such as forbidden musical instruments. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah was asked about a sheikh who held a sama' (spiritual concert) with music free of cymbals for perpetrators of grave sins, intending their repentance, as he could not invite them otherwise. He replied that the sheikh was ignorant of the lawful methods, because the Prophet (peace be upon him), the Companions, and the Successors invited those who were worse than these individuals through lawful methods, with which Allah had enriched them, thus making them independent of innovative methods.
