What is the authenticity of the saying: "The grave does not open for the wretched on Wednesday," and is it a hadith or a maxim?

There is no Hadith with this wording or meaning narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, nor from the Companions or the Salaf. Its meaning is entirely false, for no one among people knows if the deceased is wretched or blessed. The grave does not reject anyone, and Wednesday has no special virtue for burial. Moreover, the assertion that it is an ill-omened day is false, and any Hadith regarding it is fabricated. Linking the burial of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, to the burial of the wretched has no basis.
