What is the meaning of "believing in magic" (musaddiq bi-s-sihr) mentioned in the noble Hadith: "Three types of people will not enter Paradise: a habitual drunkard, one who severs ties of kinship, and one who believes in magic"?

"One who believes in magic is someone who believes the magician in his claim of knowing the unseen. This is supported by the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud: 'Whoever comes to a magician, or a soothsayer, or a diviner, and believes what he says, has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him).'"
