What is the authenticity of the Hadith: "Learn sorcery but do not practice it"?

The aforementioned Hadith is false and has no basis. It is not permissible to learn or practice magic because it is a reprehensible act, an act of disbelief (kufr), and misguidance. Allah Almighty has clarified in Surat Al-Baqarah that magic is disbelief and from the teachings of devils, and that whoever learns it will have no share in the Hereafter, and that it harms and does not benefit, and that it causes separation between a person and their spouse. The verses warn against magic and clarify that it is against faith (iman) and piety (taqwa).
