Does the Hadith: "The slaughter of the fetus is the slaughter of its mother" mean that eating the fetus is permissible? And what is its meaning?

A Muslim should not greet his Muslim brethren with "Peace be upon whoever follows guidance." Rather, the prescribed greeting is "As-salamu alaykum (Peace be upon you)." As for a fetus that emerges dead from the womb of its slaughtered mother, it is permissible to eat without needing a separate slaughter, because the slaughter of its mother is considered its slaughter. This is the view of the majority of jurists. This ruling applies if the fetus emerges dead after the soul has been breathed into it. However, if it emerges alive with a stable life, it is not permissible to eat unless it is slaughtered. Some scholars disliked eating the fetus from a medical perspective due to blood congestion within it.
