Is it permissible for my wife to take stimulants to conceive twins, knowing that she is naturally fertile?

There is no harm in a wife taking natural or synthetic stimulants to conceive twins, provided they are free from harm, due to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "There is no harm nor is there to be any harming." A trustworthy doctor should be consulted to ensure there are no harmful effects on the wife and to determine the type of stimulant. Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymeen was asked about the ruling on taking stimulating pills for pregnancy, and he answered that it is permissible if the doctor confirms they are not harmful, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: "Marry the affectionate, fertile woman, for I will boast of your numbers."
