What is the ruling on masturbation for 100 days over several months of Ramadan, whether done out of ignorance or intentionally?

Masturbation is forbidden (haram), and its prohibition is more severe in Ramadan and during the daytime hours of Ramadan. Whoever commits this act must repent and seek Allah's forgiveness, and make up for the days on which masturbation occurred. The obligation to make up (qada') does not fall away for the ignorant person, even if the sin is remitted.
