What is the ruling on the phrase "And nothing gains my heart except one with great fortune," and is it considered a distortion of Allah's saying: "But none will receive it except one of great fortune"?

Using the phrase "to win my heart" in messages is not permissible, and its minimum ruling is reprehensibility (karahah); because it involves self-praise, arrogance, and vanity, and this is not among the manners of believers. Rather, it might fall under prohibited quotation if it contains a meaning that involves jest or lewdness.
