Is it permissible to advertise a job with a non-existent monthly salary, with the aim of encouraging young people to read and plan their lives, and contribute to the advancement of the nation?

Promising young people a reward with the intention of not fulfilling it is a lie. Lying leads to wickedness, and wickedness leads to the Fire. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, condemned lying even in jest with children. The youth's disinclination to read does not justify lying to them. Indeed, lying might be a reason for deterring them from good, and they might even generalize this judgment to every caller to good. Therefore, whoever has done this must repent to Allah and not lie to His servants.
