Is a person considered a polytheist if he made an amulet (hijab) from Quranic verses for his wife at her request, believing that it was not polytheism, and then it later became clear to him that this act is considered polytheism?

The amulet (hijab) is forbidden if it is not from the Qur'an and prophetic supplications, or if it contains symbols and talismans, and it is considered shirk (polytheism). If it is from the Qur'an and prophetic supplications, the correct view is that it is forbidden due to the generality of the hadiths and to block the means (to shirk). This amulet must be removed and burned immediately. The person who made it is not considered a polytheist or a sinner because they did not intentionally commit the disobedience, based on the Almighty's saying: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts intended" and His saying: "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred." And the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "My Ummah has been forgiven for mistakes, forgetfulness, and what they are compelled to do."
