The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, wore wool and did not adorn himself excessively in his clothing. The garment he loved most was the hibarah, which was a Yemeni cloak with red and white stripes. On Fridays, he would wear his red burdah, and on the two Eid festivals, he would wear a red cloak.
