When was the balance erected for the devout man who sought to enter Paradise through his deeds? Did this occur in the unseen, or was it a specific revelation to the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him? And was the balance erected, and was he judged and his affair concluded before the Hour?

This narration is weak. It was mentioned in "Shu'ab al-Iman" by Al-Bayhaqi and "Al-Mustadrak" by Al-Hakim. Its text states that Jibreel informed the Prophet, peace be upon him, about a servant of Allah who worshipped Him for five hundred years on a mountaintop. He would nourish himself from a pomegranate that emerged every night, and he would pray. He wished for Allah to take his soul while prostrating. On the Day of Resurrection, when he was resurrected, Allah commanded him to enter Paradise by His mercy. However, the servant claimed he would enter by his deeds. So, Allah weighed His blessings upon him against his deeds, and found that the blessing of sight encompassed his five hundred years of worship, and the blessing of his body remained an additional favor upon him. Thereupon, Allah commanded him to be cast into the Fire. The servant then cried out, asking for Paradise by Allah's mercy. Sheikh Al-Albani included it in "Al-Silsilah al-Da'ifah" (The Chain of Weak Narrations) and stated that it is weak. If the weakness of the hadith is established, then there is no room for questions about it. However, it must be known that if the Prophet, peace be upon him, informed about something that had not yet occurred, it was through divine revelation communicated to him.
