What is the ruling on spending the night outside the home due to fear of earthquakes and tremors occurring in the northern regions of Morocco?

There is no harm in natural fear of dangers, like an enemy or earthquakes; even prophets and righteous people may experience it. As for the fear of reverence and submission, it is not permissible except for Allah Almighty. Whoever directs it to other than Allah has committed polytheism, similar to the actions of polytheists towards their idols and grave worshippers towards their saints. Therefore, the fear of a house collapsing during an earthquake is blameless because it is a natural, innate fear.
