What are the meanings of the names "Dania," "Danya," and "Dayyan Allah," and is it permissible to name children with them?

There is no objection to naming a child "Dania" (دانية), which means "the close one," and it is similar to girls' names. As for "Danya" (دانيا), we do not encourage naming with it due to its ambiguity and linguistic awkwardness, although there is no prohibition in its meaning. Regarding "Dayyan Allah" (ديّان الله), "Al-Dayyan" (الديّان) is Allah the Almighty, and He is the Accountant, the Requiter, the obeyed King, the Ruler, and the Judge. Therefore, it is not permissible to name a child "Dayyan Allah" because Allah is Al-Dayyan, and it is not permissible to add one of Allah's names to the majestic word "Allah," nor does anyone deserve to be named with this name. One should choose good names that are clear in meaning and light in pronunciation.
