What is the ruling on expressing "Divine Justice" in Islamic Sharia?
There is no objection to using the term "Divine Justice." Some trustworthy scholars have used it without being censured, among them Sheikh Abdur-Razzaq Afifi, Sheikh Al-Fawzan, Sheikh Ni'matullah Alwan, Al-Jazairi, and Az-Zuhaili. The term signifies Allah Almighty's justice in His actions, judgments, and words, as He says: "And the Word of your Lord has been fulfilled in truth and in justice" (Al-An'am: 115). As Ibn Al-Qayyim clarified, justice is one of Allah's attributes in His actions, words, and judgments, and all His actions are based on justice and rectitude, with no injustice whatsoever.
