Is performing the obligatory prayer at a time of necessity among those whom Allah has threatened with woe—those who pray—or does that apply to one who delays their daytime prayers until night or their nighttime prayers until day?

The time for Maghrib prayer extends from sunset until the disappearance of the red twilight. Whoever performs it within this time has fulfilled it, even if they miss theفضل (preferable time). Delaying the prayer until the time of necessity without an excuse is reprehensible and falls under the warning mentioned in His (Allah's) Almighty saying: "So woe to those who pray, [but] who are heedless of their prayer." This includes heedlessness regarding its time, or its performance with its pillars and conditions, or regarding devotion within it. This is in contrast to one who is permitted to combine two prayers due to an excuse such as travel or illness, for whom their time is shared. As for one who combines without an excuse, they have committed a grave sin.
