Is the precise timing of the prayers mentioned in the Holy Quran?

The Quran mentions indications of prayer times, and some scholars have deduced them from specific verses. The dawn (Fajr) and afternoon (Asr) prayers are alluded to in the Almighty's saying: "And glorify the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting." As for the sunset (Maghrib) prayer, it is alluded to in His saying: "And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of night," where the predecessors interpreted "the two ends of the day" as the morning and the sunset. The times for the noon (Dhuhr) and night (Isha) prayers are mentioned in His saying: "Establish prayer at the declining of the sun until the darkness of the night and [recite] the Quran of dawn." "Declining of the sun" refers to its passing its zenith, indicating the Dhuhr time, "darkness of the night" refers to its intensity, indicating the Isha time, and "Quran of dawn" means the Fajr prayer. Thus, this verse encompasses all five prayers.
