Is it permissible for a Muslim daughter to take what her Christian mother had written for her during her lifetime?

It is permissible for a Muslim to accept a gift or a bequest from their non-Muslim relative, as the prohibition was mentioned in inheritance, not in gifts or bequests, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever, nor does a disbeliever inherit from a Muslim."

If the Christian mother has written what she owns to her Muslim daughter as a bequest, then the daughter's share is one-third, unless the heirs permit her to have more than that. If it is a gift, then its completion is conditioned upon the gifted item being possessed during the lifetime of the giver, and that there is no preference given to that daughter over the rest of the children.

There is no impediment for the daughter to own what her mother has written to her as a gift or a bequest, provided the mentioned conditions are met.
