The "Hebri Tariqa" is one of the Sufi orders branched from the Shadhiliyya, attributed to "Muhammad al-Hebri al-Azzawi al-Zarwali." This tariqa believes in wahdat al-wujud (unity of existence), interprets Quranic verses esoterically, and exaggerates the status of its shaykhs. It also claims that mujāhadah (spiritual struggle) ceased with its advent, and that its leader is the successor and heir of the Messenger, who teaches the Greatest Name (al-Ism al-A'dham), which makes its bearer one of the people of the Essence (ahl al-dhāt). The Permanent Committee for Issuing Fatwas has affirmed that the correct path is the one followed by the Prophet, peace be upon him, and his Companions, and everything that contradicts it is rejected. It is recommended to study authentic books of Sunnah and Tafsir (exegesis), and regarding Sufism, it is recommended to read books that reveal its true nature.
