If by "Samiyah" what is meant is the 'Aqiqah (sacrificial offering for a newborn), then it is slaughtered on the seventh day after the child's birth, and on that day, the child is named and their head is shaved. So, if the child is born on a Thursday, the 'Aqiqah is slaughtered on a Wednesday. It is recommended to name the newborn on the first or seventh day. There is no harm in slaughtering the 'Aqiqah or naming the newborn on any other day.
