Is it more befitting to slaughter the 'Aqeeqah on the seventh day of the baby girl's birth in the father's absence, or to postpone it until the father's return after two months?

The Sunnah regarding the 'Aqiqah is that it should be slaughtered on the seventh day, based on the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Every newborn is mortgaged to his 'Aqiqah, which should be slaughtered on his behalf on the seventh day, and his head should be shaved, and he should be named." The father's presence is not required at the time of the 'Aqiqah; rather, he may delegate someone else to perform it. The 'Aqiqah is a Sunnah, not an obligation, so there is no sin upon one who neglects it or delays it.
