When is the 'aqiqah for a newborn who was born on Thursday afternoon, and is the day of birth included in the seven days?

It is recommended to perform the 'Aqiqah for the newborn on the seventh day. The day of birth is included in the count according to the majority of scholars, so the sacrifice is made on the sixth day after the day of birth. If the child is born on a Saturday, the 'Aqiqah would be on Friday. This is the view of the majority of jurists. The Malikis held that the day of birth is not counted if the child is born after Fajr, but it is counted if born before it. However, the correct view is that of the majority.
