What is the ruling on changing the name "Abdul Sattar" to "Abdul Rahman" on the grounds that "Al-Sattar" is not one of Allah's Most Beautiful Names?

"Al-Sattar" (The Coverer/Concealer) is not one of the established Beautiful Names of Allah. Rather, it is an interpretation of the Name "Al-Ghaffar" (The Forgiver) according to some jurists. However, this interpretation is deficient, for forgiveness means protecting a servant from the punishment of a sin, and not merely covering it up. Therefore, changing the mentioned name is more appropriate.
