What is the ruling on spraying the house with insecticide while there are copies of the Qur'an in it, and is it permissible to place them in a cabinet?

If the Mushaf (Qur’an) is in a safe place where no impure substances can reach it, then there is no harm in spraying the house with pesticide. What is forbidden is to degrade the Mushaf or to let it be touched by something impure, because it is obligatory to keep the Mushaf pure and protect it from impurities.
