What is the solution for someone who faces social pressure to engage in forbidden acts such as befriending girls, smoking, and watching pornography, in a society that considers these behaviors normal for his age, while he does not wish to be like them?

The young man whom Allah has blessed with understanding and knowledge is advised to remain steadfast and to avoid the company of those who are astray, citing the Hadith of the seven whom Allah will shade, among them "a youth who grew up in the worship of his Lord."

He should also supplicate, keep company with the righteous, attend gatherings of knowledge, invite others to steadfastness, reflect on the divine texts that instill fear of Allah's punishment, contemplate Allah's names and attributes, and frequently engage in the remembrance of Allah and the recited supplications.
