What is meant by the word "sabaqa" (سبق) in the noble Hadith: "The Mufarridun have excelled," and is this Hadith of the highest degree of authenticity?

The hadith is authentic, narrated by Muslim from Abu Hurayrah, and its wording is: "The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, was walking on the road to Mecca when he passed by a mountain called Jamdan. He said: 'Walk on, this is Jamdan, the Mufarridun have surpassed.' They said: 'Who are the Mufarridun, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'The men who remember Allah much and the women who remember Allah much.'" And the meaning of "the Mufarridun have surpassed" is that they have surpassed others in attaining closeness and high ranks due to their abundant remembrance of Allah the Almighty. And the Mufarridun are those who remember Allah much. It was narrated with the word "al-Mufarridun" with a shaddah on the ra' and also with a light ra', but the well-known and what the majority said is with the shaddah.
