Is it permissible for a Muslim woman who lives with two non-Muslim parents who harm her due to their hatred of Islam, and who practice sorcery and obey the commands of the jinn, to sit with them? And is this considered living among polytheists, as mentioned in the Hadith: "I am innocent of every Muslim who lives among polytheists," and the verse: {Those whom the angels take while they are wronging themselves – they will say, "In what [condition] were you?" They will say, "We were oppressed in the land." They [the angels] will say, "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to emigrate therein?" So, those – their refuge is Hell, and wretched is it as a destination}—knowing that she cannot find a mahram to go out with, nor a place of refuge?

If the parents hate what Allah and His Messenger have revealed and revile them, in addition to practicing magic and seeking help from jinn, then they are disbelievers, committing an act of disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam. They should be advised with wisdom and good counsel. If they persist in this, then they are apostates. One must be careful not to provoke them by reviling religion or the Messenger. One should denounce their actions to the best of one's ability. It is not permissible to sit with them while they are engaged in disbelief or forbidden acts, unless they switch to another permissible topic of conversation. One must accompany them with kindness and treat them well despite their disbelief. It is recommended to marry to escape this ordeal. A mahram is required for travel, but not for residence. It is not permissible to go to a place where there is danger.
