What is the ruling on one who stones during Hajj on the third of the Days of Tashreeq before zawal?

It is not permissible to stone the Jamarat during the Days of Tashreeq before zawwal (declination of the sun from its meridian), and whoever does so, their stoning is not sufficient. If they repeat the stoning at its proper time, then there is nothing upon them. But if they do not repeat it, then a dam (sacrifice) is obligatory upon them. This is the view of the majority of scholars, based on the hadith of Jabir: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stoned the Jamarah on the Day of Sacrifice in the forenoon, and as for thereafter, it was after the sun had declined."
