What is the ruling on the love of money? May Allah reward you.

Souls are naturally inclined to love wealth, and it is permissible if acquired through lawful means and if Allah's due right in it, such as zakat and spending in charitable causes, is fulfilled. However, it becomes blameworthy if it leads to acquiring it through unlawful means, distracts from obedience to Allah, or is hoarded without fulfilling Allah's due right in it. Therefore, blameworthy love of wealth is that which necessitates sins and causes the corruption of one's faith. As for a mere heartfelt love for wealth, a person is not punished for it if they obey Allah and abstain from His prohibitions. Accumulating wealth, if its obligations are fulfilled and it is not acquired through unlawful means, is not punishable. However, giving away its surplus and limiting oneself to what is sufficient is better for the heart and more beneficial for both this world and the Hereafter.
