What is the ruling regarding a father preventing his son from benefiting from his property and making him work for a low wage, while allowing his wife's relatives to benefit from the property in order to please his wife?

A father must spend on his needy child who has no money or sufficient earnings to cover his basic needs. However, if the son is self-sufficient, the father is not obligated to spend on him.

There is no blame upon a father if he disposes of his wealth through gifts, loans, or charity to whomever he wishes. And the son has a greater right to his father's kindness than other relatives.
