Is it permissible to place copies of the Qur'an in a mosque as an ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah) on behalf of the donor, her husband, her mother, and her father?

Endowing Qur'ans is one of the commendable deeds whose reward is continuous, and there is no harm in endowing them in the name of the endower or in the name of someone else, so that they may both receive the reward.
