Are "those purified" in His — Most High — saying: "None touch it except those purified" (Qur’an 56:79) those who have performed ablution or those who are free from impurity, and is ablution required for reading the Qur’an, and what should I do if my ablution becomes void while I am reading?

The "purified ones" in the noble verse carry several meanings: among them, "its taste and benefit are not found except by one who believes in it," and also one who is pure from ritual impurity (janaba) and minor ritual impurity (hadath). The word "purified ones" includes purity of the heart, purity from minor ritual impurity, and purity from filth.
