What is the meaning of the noble verse: (None shall touch it except the purified), and what is the reason for its revelation with the word "yamassuhu" (touches) instead of "yalamasuhu" (touches lightly), for example, and what are the legal rulings and divine meanings extracted from it?

Scholars have differed in interpreting the noble verse. Some have held that the pronoun in "yamassuhu" (touches it) refers to the Preserved Tablet, or what is in the hands of the angels, or our copies of the Qur'an. As for "al-mutahharoon" (the purified ones), it has been said that they are the angels, or the accountable human beings who are purified from ritual impurities, or those who believed in it and whose hearts were purified. The term "al-mutahharoon" is a shared word encompassing purity from polytheism, sins, ritual impurities, and physical impurities. "Al-mass" (touch) in the Arabic language refers to feeling, touching, taking, direct contact, and mixing.
