Does the wetness from prostatic fluid, occurring before the emission of semen and purification, contaminate outer clothing, thereby necessitating its change before ablution and prayer?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

Pre-seminal fluid (madhy) is impure (najis) and invalidates ablution (wudu'). Upon its emission, it is obligatory to wash the penis and whatever parts of the body and clothing it has touched. If its discharge is frequent, it takes the ruling of perpetual impurity ( سلس - سلس البول والغائط). It is preferable to wash the affected part of the clothing to avoid scholarly disagreement, and it is not necessary to remove the garment. Whoever prays with impurity, forgetting or being ignorant of it, does not need to repeat the prayer.
