What is required of one who has delayed the 'aqiqah for his daughters? Is it a condition to be in a state of ihram for it, like the udhiyah? And is it for a child who died at one day old, or one who was miscarried in the third month?

The preponderant opinion is that the 'aqiqah is a confirmed Sunnah, and it is linked to the male child, as in the saying of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Every child is mortgaged by his 'aqiqah; it is sacrificed for him on his seventh day, his head is shaved, and he is named." The Sunnah is for it to be sacrificed on the seventh day, and if it is delayed beyond that, its sacrifice is permissible. It is desirable for one who has reached maturity to perform 'aqiqah for himself. As for abstaining from cutting hair and nails for the sacrifice (udhiyah), this is specific to those who intend to offer a sacrifice, from the beginning of the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah until they offer their sacrifice. This does not include the 'aqiqah.
