What should a father do if the family is unable to raise the children well, such as a son not returning home or a 13-year-old not committing to prayer?

Children are the adornment of worldly life, and a true Muslim realizes their great responsibility towards their children. Therefore, they must raise them well, enjoin them to good and forbid them from evil, teach them matters of their religion, and guide them towards righteousness. The duty of parents towards their children begins at an early age, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Command your children to pray when they are seven years old, and beat them for it when they are ten." Parents are responsible for raising their children and protecting them from deviation.
